Guild Members Personal Web Pages

The purpose of this page is to assist members of the Hawaii Woodworkers Guild in setting up their own web page. If you are not a member, but are looking for a particular member. We suggest that you visit the Guild web site and search using the database. You can also look through the Exhibiting Members Gallery, or the Membership Roster.

If you are a Guild Member and you are new to the web site, please read the detail on this page before you log on, as it will make using the web site much easier.

How to set up your Personal Web Page

The 4 photographs for your web site are of your choosing, and can be emailed to the Guild Web Site Manager. If you cannot do this yourself, mail the photos to the Guild Web Site Manager. Include a self addressed stamped envelope If you wish to have the photos back.

All photos on the site must meet the following standards:

  • Photos will be displayed exactly 4 inches WIDE by 3 inches HIGH.
    If the photo is vertical, white space will be added to the sides of the photo.
  • The resolution of the photos must be 72 dots per inch.
  • The file type must be '.jpg' and the file names should be '1.jpg', '2.jpg', '3.jpg' and 4.jpg'
    When you email them to the Guild Web Site Manager, please specify which of the 4 you would like to have appear in the Exhibiting Members Gallery.
  • Pictures which appear on the Front Page of the web site must have all of the background removed so the piece appears on a plain white background. These photos are reviewed by a jury before they will appear on the front cover.

The information on your individual web site is created from the information you provid when you log on and fill out the membership form.

To add your information the first time, log on and select choice #2 from the menu. To edit, review, or update your information, log on and select choice #1.

If you do not find it there, or don't remember what your User Name is, please contact the Guild.

It is a good idea to keep your user name and password handy so you can update your page as often as you need to.
